Two more new Dem states thanks to Pelosi and AOC:

There has to be some sort of legal problem with making the District of Corruption a state. The District of Corruption is run entirely on taxpayer dollars. I see a problem with a little turd state being supported by the taxpayers in the other 50 states.
Its a federal district, not a state. For a very specific reason. Its the nations capital. It never was set up to be a state.
Outside of DC becoming a state, creating new states out of existing states would be quite difficult.

Poor Democrats, they don’t have a blue state end-run scheme to get around the Senate like they’ve been trying and failing to do with the Electoral College.

And they also want to make Puerto Rico a state. Between that and DC will give 4 more Democrats to the Senate and probably another 6-8 seats to House.
And there is already talk of stacking the Supreme Court by adding seats as soon as they have the opportunity to do so.
And don’t count on the GOP doing anything to stop them. The Republicans have no problem with new Democratic voters flooding over the border.
Actually, I took some time to look this up. There is a reason this wasn’t done when O was Pres and the dems controlled everything. D.C. as a Federal enclave is expressly provided for in Art 1 of the Const. So, it would probably take an amendment. Congress can create a state if Maryland asks for “its” land back that was used to create D.C. in the first place. VA did just that. All but the Federal buildings would be part of Maryland, and they already have two senators.
Expect ANYTHING from these power-mad, America-hating totalitarians. And where are the Repubs? Hiding under their desks as usual?
Then Texas can split into 5 states. There will be one Mexican one, and the rest will be Repubs with 2 senators each if you draw the lines right.
This is why unfortunately Ann Coulter is right—for Trump to merely allow the illegals in the country now to stay will be the end of our nation. The Dems will have imported a permanent majority as we will have become a country that votes like Latin America.
Stick together. Stay with Trump.

If we split off the east-southeast-south central 2/3 of my state, we would be a good conservative state, and still have more area and more natural resources than most other states.
It would be really nice to have some actual Senatorial representation for a change. For the last twenty years all we have had is leftists who only care about the three major cities that hold half the state’s population.
