IMO, her popularity and Progressive left Rats, is a result of the lack of History being taught in all levels of education.
The DNC said they were targeting SXSW and they are. It was supposed to be a music festival but it’s turning into a political rally. Well, if there’s anywhere for the DNC to congregate besides CA, it’s uber liberal Austin.

It’s because Austin was the best city in Texas to live last decade! Then, it was blessed with technology coming into the city. What followed was liberals from other high taxed states flocked there for the low cost real estate and then abandoned God for self.
It used to be a great city for all, but now it’s just sad to walk the city and see the weird be not weird but really just dead souls trying to act like they enjoy life when they are mostly miserable and spoiled. Now they are getting weekend homes away from the city and bringing their lack of joy to the surrounding towns where we moved for sanctuary!!
They’re preaching to the choir in Austin but it gets them national coverage.
Until analysts on the right come to terms with the fact that she is the SYMPTOM of something and not its CAUSE, the answers will continue to elude them.
She represents a generation that is bound and determined to do socialism.

Austin was in the past weird but in a quirky way. Think of a mix of hippies and cowboys. It’s city officials were liberal, but Texas liberal which is conservative in most other states. Then things started going down hill when a good number of people migrated there from Silicon valley.
Austin used to be a large small town in Texas. Now it is just as liberal as Los Angeles. Also a sanctuary city.
