But the liar media always plays up a loss into a win for them, always. Except they are losing viewers, readers, subscribers and $$$. It’s a war of attrition and they are losing.
But the lefty base is led to believe this Foundation was shut down amid ‘massive illegalities’.

The Trump Foundation tried to shutter itself in 2016 to avoid conflicts of interest but the State AG would not let them.

But now they agreed in December 2018 to allow the Foundation to dissolve as they lost their battle and are letting Donald Trump do what he wanted to do all along.
Why did they lose? Because they wanted to investigate and snoop around for illegalities. They found nothing that had not been declared already to the IRS and corrected. And what was found was chickensh*t.
For example:
In 2015, Donald Trump donated $50,000 to his son Barron’s school and acknowledged it was a mistake to use the Trump Foundation for that, and then he reversed it and corrected it, all declaring candidly for the IRS. Because even though the donation was for a school, the fact that Barron was attending meant somehow Barron would benefit from the donation. That’s crap but a rule is a rule and Donald Trump’s accountants reversed it, corrected it, and declared it to the IRS.

The move fulfills a promise Trump made last December (2016), when he said he would wind down the Donald J. Trump Foundation to avoid conflicts of interest. New York’s attorney general ordered the foundation to stop soliciting contributions in October 2016.
“The foundation announced its intent to dissolve and is seeking approval to distribute its remaining funds” to other charities, according to its 2016 Internal Revenue Service filing, filed this month and uploaded to the website of the nonprofit information source Guidestar.org by the foundation.
At the end of 2016, the foundation had assets of about $970,000, the document shows.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the foundation confirmed that it is being shuttered. “The Foundation continues to cooperate with the New York Attorney General’s Charities Division, and as previously announced by the President, his advisers are working with the Charities Division to wind up the affairs of the Foundation. The Foundation looks forward to distributing its remaining assets at the earliest possible time to aid numerous worthy charitable organizations.”
The attorney general’s press secretary, Amy Spitalnick, said the foundation can’t close just yet, however. “As the foundation is still under investigation by this office, it cannot legally dissolve until that investigation is complete,” said Spitalnick.

The Trump family are all incredibly smart. Eric especially.
Not only are they very smart, but they were also made to work very hard to gain knowledge through experience.
For example, Don Jr. can operate an excavator and fix it mechanically, and the next day he attends a meeting of high finances.
The whole family has a work ethic that is off the scale high. This was handed down by the Grandfather Fred Trump who was one of the hardest working developers ever.
No slackers in that family.
When an experienced blue-collar trades pro like an electrician or plumber talks to Don Jr. or Eric, they learn things, they know the family is the real deal. They are not phonies, they are blue-collar billionaires with high educations. And they never talk down to anyone that earns an honest living or has had a round of bad luck.

My original point was that when you are a billionaire with huge, complex international business and financial transactions, it’s easy for the DOJ to find a way to indict you, or your children, over financial matters. I don’t think Baron is under any sort of investigation or suspicion. And as I understand it, he is already fluent in three languages himself. But multiple languages are the norm in much of Europe.
