Trump blasts California governor for halting executions

President Trump on Wednesday blasted California Gov. Gavin Newsom for halting executions for the state’s 737 death row inmates.

“Defying voters, the Governor of California will halt all death penalty executions of 737 stone cold killers. Friends and families of the always forgotten VICTIMS are not thrilled, and neither am I!” Trump tweeted early Wednesday.

The tweet comes hours before Newsom, a Democrat, is expected to sign an executive order that would halt all executions at San Quentin State Prison, closing a new execution chamber. The order would also withdraw lethal injection regulations. The order, though, would leave all convictions intact.

California must be purged from the Union

Counties can appeal for reentry on a case by case basis

Gavin Newsom supports killing babies but not killing murderers.

Party of Death: Murderers deserve our support, babies do not.

Yes, the innocent are slaughtered, meanwhile the serial killers are spared.

Why should taxpayers have to feed murderers? Life sentences for murder should equal 2 years of life in jail (time to prove innocence) and then execution.

That is 537 potential Democrat Voters. /s

California is a one party state. When you have a one party state the Governor can do pretty much what he wants.

The governor will have blood on his hands when (not if) one of those 537 murders someone, again.

Here is a sample of the people whose sentences were commuted by Newsom:

Rodney Alcala. Prosecutors say that he “toyed” with his victims, strangling them until they lost consciousness, then waiting until they revived, sometimes repeating this process several times before finally killing them.

Vincent Brothers. Brothers was convicted of killing his wife, their new baby, two toddlers and his mother-in-law. I guess Newsom commuted his sentence since he was killing children, which is OK under the Dems’s new abortion legislation.

Richard Allen Davis. Davis was convicted of first-degree murder and four special circumstances (robbery, burglary, kidnapping, and a lewd act on a child) of 12-year-old Polly Klaas.

Yes, the DNC will register them all as Democrats and vote harvest them. I’m not joking.

Murder the innocent, spare the guilty.

Welcome the American Nazi Party, Gavin Newsom, member.

As long as only California taxpayers pay for the incarceration and legal expenses for the killers, I don’t care whether they kill them or not.

And as long as only California taxpayers pay for the increased crime resulting from no death penalty ....

California must be purged from the Union

Instead of purging the whole state, maybe we should purge the nut cases and keep the land.

Mistake Don. Call for an end to capital punishment. Then we can be consistent on the question of life.

No. Capital Punishment must be executed and swiftly. Anyone who cannot see the difference between executing the guilty and protecting the innocent has no say in the debate, they are incapable of distinguishing right from wrong.

I’m curious as to when the last death row inmate in kalifornia was actually executed? Does Newsom’s decree actually make a difference?

Crime continues to pay in the once-Golden State.

And, one fears that Mister Newsom is just getting started in the conversion of Cali into workers' paradise, Calizuela.

Prolonging imprisonment in the face of death sentence is cruel punishment

Never mind. I just googled my question, viz. when was the last time (that absolute sewer of a state) kalifornia actually executed anybody.

On January 17, 2006, California executed Clarence Ray Allen, who was 76 years old, legally blind, diabetic, and used a wheelchair. He was the last person the state has executed.

And it sounds about like a mercy killing. What's the average time on death row? 30 years? More?
