My district had Scott Taylor, a Navy Seal, as its rep and some female by the name of Luria, don’t know her first name, came along and pushed him out.

Don’t know. We should bear in mind that Trump sometimes compromises with the senate because he knows there are traitors among GOP senators who might do anything if they are PO’d. Party loyalty exists only on the other side.
President Trump is entirely within the Constitutional authority of the president to declare a national emergency... as the situation at the border clearly is! So this vote IMHO was no great act of Constitutional integrity, just more DeeCee Swamp sho-biz... OR SHALL I SAY SHO-BEE-ESS-BIZ! #12Cowards

From 1917 to 1975, 2/3 vote was required for cloture, or taking the bill out of debate and placing it to a vote. That was changed from 67% to 60% or 3/5 vote to approve cloture.
That simply is a vote to require the bill to be voted upon.
Once voted upon, the bill is approved by majority vote on the bill itself.
Now that the President has vetoed the bill, a 2/3rds majority vote is required to overturn the veto.
So if they seek to overturn the veto, they need 67 votes.
IMHO, this is a test to see if our govt will withstand the coming hand of justice.
