CNN hosted a town hall on Monday in Mississippi with presidential candidate and Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) where she answered questions on a range of issues, including the Mississippi flag, which features in its field a Confederate symbol. “Mississippi’s the only state in the country that still has the Confederate battle emblem on the state flag — do you think Mississippi should adopt a new flag?” Jake Tapper, CNN anchor who moderated the town hall, asked Warren.
“Warren replied with one word — ‘Yes’ — and was met with loud applause from the crowd,” CNN reported on its event.

CNN also cited the deadly protest and counter-protest over the removal of a statue of Confederate President Robert E. Lee in Charlottesville, West Virginia, in 2017 that attracted Neo-Nazis and Antifa and resulted in the death of a counter-protester.
Another attendee at the town hall asked:
As a presidential hopeful, do you have any plans on addressing the removal, or lack thereof, of the reminders of this nation’s dark past, or have any plans on preserving the nation’s history in a way that explains it in a more educational sense versus showing praise to the losing side?
CNN reported Warren said she would “support removing Confederate celebrations from federal land and putting them in museums, where they belong.

And now with all these states that are voting to have their Electoral College voters vote for the candidate who wins the popular vote and ignore their own state’s voters if they vote the other way. Apparently it is up to 12 states that have now voted to nullify the Electoral College and if they get a few more between now and 2020 it will be all over ... no Republican or other non-Dem party member will be president.
Trump might win the real vote in 2020, the fraud vote and states who will force their electors to vote for the popular vote total candidate ... I don’t see how Trump can win.

Here in Aiken County, South Carolina, the Jefferson Davis Highway runs from Aiken to Augusta, Georgia. That highway is also US 1 and US 78.

My understanding of history is that President Abraham Lincoln pardoned all of the Confederates with the purpose of reuniting and healing the country. So, monuments being vandalized or torn down present day are monuments to Americans. What’s next, vandalizing or desecrating their graves??!!
