MILAN – Italian authorities say a bus driver transporting schoolchildren stopped his vehicle on a provincial highway, told the passengers to get off and then doused the interior with gasoline and set it on fire. Italian media reported that the driver, an Italian of Senegalese origin, was immediately apprehended. The motive for the arson attack Thursday morning on the outskirts of Milan was unclear. An official told Sky TG24 that the middle school-age children alerted authorities, aiding a speedy emergency response. Twelve children and two adults were taken the hospital but authorities reported only one injury. Video showed firefighters dousing the bus that had been completely gutted by flames, leaving only the charred metal frame. ANSA said the bus was carrying about 50 children from the Lombard province of Cremona.

Italy’s Salvini is not stupid enough to be hamstrung by political correctness.

Appropriate measures will be taken to avenge the wrongdoing, and to prevent another occurrence.

An Italian of Senegalese origin. Is that like a Minnesotan of Somalian origin?

> it’s another example of the MSM whitewashing immigrant issues. <

Fox says the driver let the kids go. At a minimum, it looks like Fox got some facts wrong. The Washington Post says that the driver did not let the kids go - the Italian police had to rescue them.

African Immigrant = muslim

They're probably still looking for a motive, like they are in Utrecht, Netherlands.

Bringing into your country a subhuman savage stuck in the 7th century does not make him a civilized human being. He will always be a subhuman savage.

Keep them out!

Italy has been around for oh about 2500-ish years as a political entity and group of humans. If we count the earlier inhabitants it’s going on what, 18000 years? Even before since the glaciers never got that far south. Stopped in the Alps which is why humans wintered there for 6000 years while the Earth shucked off its cold snap.

Don’t think much of anyone from West Africa was there in all that time. Just a bit beyond ridiculous to label them as such simply because they floated over from North Africa a couple of years ago.

How does this look?

The world thirsts for happy people in their homelands. We must stop the imposing of regime change!

It’s short enough to fit as a tagline, but mostly captures your sentiment.

He wanted to die and kill the kids in the burning bus launched at Linate airport. "But we are evaluating all hypotheses, including that of terrorism," said the Milan prosecutor Francesco Greek. In fact, the prosecutor has clarified that Alberto Nobili, head of the anti-terrorist pool in Milan, is also dealing with the case. "It was a miracle, could be a killing, the police have been outstanding both locks is to release all the children," he added Greek. To then specify: "We wanted to interrogate him immediately, but he has burns in one arm". According to what has been reconstructed so far, the 47-year-old driver - who has Italian citizenship - should have brought the kids back to school after an outdoor sport activity. Instead he hijacked the vehicle by taking the Paullese. Turning to the pupils he would have said: "Let's go to Linate, today nobody comes out of here alive. SAN DONATO MILANESE
Milan, hijack bus and set on fire: terror for 51 students. “Enough dead at sea. I will massacre at Linate Who is the driver: the portrait

The driver, Ousseynou Sy, a 47-year-old Senegalese on duty for the Autoguidovie di Crema, threatened the kids and spilled gasoline: “Let’s go to Linate, today nobody comes out of here alive”. One of the students called the carabinieri, who blocked the vehicle: everyone saved the students. The Greek prosecutor: “We also evaluate the hypothesis of terrorism”
“Today nobody comes out of here alive.” He wanted to die and kill the kids in the burning bus launched towards Linate airport. It could have been a massacre, Wednesday morning, on the provincial road Paullese (area of San Donato Milanese) and not far from the city airport where he would have said “to want to make a killing”. On board a school class: 51 children from the Vailati middle school of Crema. The driver, Ousseynou Sy, Senegalese but with Italian citizenship, 47 years, from 15 in service for the Autoguidovie di Crema, he had loaded cans of gasoline into the vehicle: he had hijacked it and headed for the airport. “That’s enough, the deaths in the Mediterranean must be stopped,” he shouted, threatening the school. The alarm was given by a boy. From there the pursuit of the carabinieri started. They hooked the bus that went to the right and left on the Paullese. They decided to ram the vehicle, rescued the kids and arrested the 47-year-old. Man has a history of drunkenness and child sexual abuse.

Greek: “We also evaluate the hypothesis of terrorism”
Kidnapping, massacre, fire and resistance. These are the crimes currently hypothesized against Ousseynou Sy. “But we are evaluating all the hypotheses, even those of terrorism”, explained the Milan prosecutor Francesco Greco. In fact, the prosecutor has clarified that Alberto Nobili, head of the anti-terrorist pool in Milan, is also dealing with the case. “It was a miracle, it could have been a massacre, the carabinieri were exceptional in blocking it and freeing all the children,” added Greco. To then specify: “We wanted to interrogate him immediately, but he has burns in one arm”.

Let’s go to Linate
According to what has been reconstructed so far, the 47-year-old driver - who has Italian citizenship - should have brought the kids back to school after an outdoor sport activity. Instead he hijacked the vehicle by taking the Paullese. Turning to the pupils he would have said: “Let’s go to Linate, today nobody comes out of here alive. The deaths in the Mediterranean must be stopped ». Next he had two jerry cans covered with black sacks and spilled gasoline on the hatboxes and seats.

The witness
Some students told their family about the terrible stages of the kidnapping. “He took the phones, but a companion managed to keep it. We had been tied up with electrician’s ties. He told us that nothing would happen and every time he threatened to spill gas, “said one of the kidnapped girls coming out of the Margherita Hack Institute’s gym. The aunt of another of the students who were on the bus, Elisabetta, said that her niece told her “that the kidnapper told the teachers to tie up the children, he seized all the phones”. “He also said he wanted to go to Linate,” the woman confirmed. “Now the children - he concluded - are quieter than us”.

The alarm given by a boy
During the phases of the kidnapping one of the students on board called the parents who, in turn, notified the carabinieri. Immediately a series of checkpoints were triggered, while patrols reached the middle. The driver at that point forced a barrage of the carabinieri, ramming the cars, but he lost control: the bus slowed down and then ran into the guardrail.

Moments of terror
When the bus crashed, Sy sprinkled the gasoline and set fire to a lighter. The military broke the windows and broke through the back door. As the kids and teachers started to descend, the driver blocked two of the students next to him, threatening to kill them. The carabinieri have disarmed and arrested him. He is under investigation for massacre and kidnapping.
The relief efforts
The 118 sent a helicopter, 11 ambulances and 4 medical vehicles to the site. The firefighters, the carabinieri of San Donato Milanese arrived and the Linate control tower was alerted. The final balance is twelve students and two adults taken to the hospital for mild intoxication. Twenty-three children were visited on site and concentrated in a gym of the Margherita Hack Institute in San Donato, waiting for their parents and with psychological support. A child is in yellow at the De Marchi, the others in green code, let know from 118. The author of the gesture was instead sent to the San Paolo. “We had reassuring news on all the bus passengers: both the school chaperone and the 51 second-graders are doing well,” announced the prefect of Milan, Renato Saccone.

Salvini: The police are searching house
“A Senegalese with Italian citizenship at the wheel of a school bus, with precedents for driving while intoxicated and sexually abused, hijacked the vehicle and finally set it on fire. It happened in the province of Milan. The man was arrested. At this moment the police are searching his home. I want to see clearly: why did a person with similar precedents drive a bus to transport children?, Declared Interior Minister Matteo Salvini.
