Malcolnm Muggeridge was at Oxford in the 1920’s.
He was a grammar school boy, not a public school toff.
In his biography he said he was shocked that the public school types at Oxford considered sodomy as more or less normal behavior.

I was born in England and brought up in Australia. I always had a soft spot for the monarchy and British system until I went there and saw that it is intertwined heavily with Freemasonry. I wonder whether the God they believe in, or say they do, has anything to do with what I believe. The public school system is an extension of that.
