Every page of the nearly 400-page Mueller report contains information that cannot be made public and must be redacted, Attorney General William Barr said Thursday, explaining why he has not met congressional Democrats’ deadline for turning it over to them.
Frustrated Democrats fired back, saying they suspect Mr. Barr of covering up for Mr. Trump, and renewing their demands for quick release of the report and for the Justice Department to provide all of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigative files to Capitol Hill.
In the meantime, Democrats said, Mr. Barr should immediately turn over summaries the Mueller team prepared, but which the attorney general did not release, instead writing his own four-page summary of the report’s conclusions.
“If there is significant daylight between his account and yours, the American people should know that too,” Rep. Jerrold Nadler, New York Democrat and House Judiciary Committee chairman, said in a letter to Mr. Barr.
Details about the summaries were first revealed in a curiously sourced piece late Wednesday in The New York Times.
The paper reported that “some” of Mr. Mueller’s investigations “have told associates” they were unhappy with Mr. Barr’s portrayal of their findings. The article attributes that finding to “government officials and others familiar with their simmering frustrations.” The Washington Post followed with its own similar report Thursday.
Mr. Nadler said he wanted answers.
President Trump, though, said the New York Times report was unworthy.
“The New York Times had no legitimate sources, which would be totally illegal, conceding the Mueller report. In fact, they probably had no sources at all! They are a Fake News paper who have already been forced to apologize for their incorrect and very bad reporting on me,” Mr. Trump wrote.

Comparisons of their treatment of positions on the Starr report and on Mueller’s will be very instructive.
But their bias is no longer disputed anyway.
The silence of Mueller is all we need to know. The a-hole left is shrieking just to appease their base because they have nothing.

There is no need to release the report since the principal findings have already been shared with the American people. .

I hope so and it looks like it, he’s done good up to now and have a hunch he’ll continue this way.

Absolutely this should be done. At least 100 people should do this every time these corrupt lawyer/lawmaker/judges doing something unethical or illegal. Flood the state’s ABA with complaints about these people. Anybody can make these complaints.
All except for one copy left in a bucket of diesel for the past week. Take that copy to the capitol and a bic lighter and turn it over.
A careful reading of the NYT story indicates some unnamed “sources” are quibbling over how the evidence was characterized.
Everyone, and I mean everyone knows whatever is there does not rise to the level of a criminal prosecution.
Not even close.
But they want their bullshit characterizations of events and the law to be published anyway in the last, final attempt to take out Trump, or add to the damage inflicted.
Line ‘em all up against a wall and shoot them.
All of them.
Or, better yet...hang them from lamp posts, or a gallows on the capitol steps.
Rush was saying they better be careful insulting Barr because he’s the guy who can appoint a new special counsel to investigate Hillary, Obama etc.
What makes you think Mueller even looked at that, let alone put it in his report?
They’re very happy. They don’t want the report. They want the appearance of it being something damning that is being kept from the public so they can make lemonade for their base from the lemon Mueller handed them.
