What does the price of crude have to do with the cost of refining?

Those are always the independent variables which we're told force prices up.

The American public is USUALLY only interested in the PRICE at the PUMP.

More often than not price at the pump is set by "supply & demand" and fluctuate constantly 10 to 20 cents per gallon based on crude prices and refining costs.

Strangely, ALL of those prices would collapse if TRUMP were to release next week 3 to 5 million barrels from U.S. reserves onto the American market.

Granted. I want refiners to prosper. And they must pass on the cost of higher crude. How this generates record profit for the refiner is what I don’t see. But it is what it is.

I don’t care. I can’t afford it. 3 bucks here and we both drive 18+ miles to work daily.

It’s one more lie we were told. Remember when they told us pay tv would have no commercials?

Boy, that one got buried.

It’s coming up on summer vacation travel season. Just like every year, this COMMODITY MARKET of supply and demand reacts to the demand.

$2.89 here, fifty cents of which is being skimmed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

It is up about 20 cents in the past couple of weeks.
I presumed that had to do with the stupid EPA seasonal fuel switchover.

#24 It is taxpartisan. They are immune as they get free cars and insurance and gas and in too many times they get a driver too.

Most of the increase in gas prices, year to year, are the result of increasing state taxes. PA used to sell affordable gasoline, until about 2 years ago when their RINO governor colluded with idiot democrats to add about 40 cents a gallon in new state gas taxes. ME,via our new idiot democrat governor Janet “It’s Trump’s fault” Mills and her foolish Dem cohorts in the state legislature are now seeking to do the same. May they all rot in hell.
