This morning the story was WH had considered what to do with illegals but decided not to. Rush comes on and says it is a GREAT idea. An hour later Fox News says WHY says they are still considering this idea. And Rush downplays his importance “running the country in a golf shirt.” LOL...

That’s a Fagus sylvatica f. purpurea, commonly known as a Copper Beech.

I’m still planting them as seedlings/whips, after raising them for 23yrs at my nursery, after taking cuttings and propagating them. It’s the 3rd longest-lived tree on earth.

I did the same with hundreds of Ulmus americana, the virus- resistant variety of almost extinct American Elm, all over southern PA and northern MD.

At 69, and in recuperating health, after 2yrs of acute-severe Pancreatitis, it’s my contribution now that I’m retired and have sold my 20ac nursery/garden center/landscape contracting operation.
