During a speech a few days ago to the LGBTQ Victory Fund, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg said “If me being gay was a choice, it was a choice that was made far, far above my pay grade. And that's the thing I wish the Mike Pences of the world would understand. That if you got a problem with who I am, your problem is not with me — your quarrel, sir, is with my creator."
Buttigieg was lauded for really taking the argument to Pence.
he comments were made in response to Pence’s recent comments ... oh, that’s right, there were no Pence comments. In fact, the two seemed to have a very pleasant relationship while both served the people of Indiana, Buttigieg as mayor of South Bend and Pence as governor.

Choice or not is besides the point of this article, if anyone read it. The bottom line is that Pence is NOT a homophobe, and treats gays like regular people. The entire thing is another false narrative that the left gets to create and promulgate unchallenged.

I can disagree with someone’s lifestyle and still treat that person like a human. I think lots of people can do that, and it’s not being hypocritical, it’s being adult.

V.P. Pence isn't the one living choosing to live in a homosexual relationship, Buttigieg is.
We all have our sins and we all wage our battles against them. Buttigieg no longer wages war against his sin, he's fully embraced it and lives in open rebellion to God.
That's between him and God. Pence has ZERO to do with it.
Having homosexual attractions...for some is mis-programming (prominently including those victims of sexual abuse) and for others an outgrowth of hedonism. At most, 10% might plausibly have a genetic basis.
