Legally questionable, but not for that reason - it isn’t a Federal election - it is a state election created by the state legislature.
Illinois still hasn’t asked Obama to establish any eligibility for the presidency ( he can’t given his daddy)— or for Obama to release ANY documentation at all ( selective service, birth certificate, academic records, a real social security record, or for that matter taxes). Nada.
Yes, but, wasn’t this same thing tried in other states in an effort to force Obama to release his birth certificate and it had no effect?
