Democrats are excitedly kicking the tires on the burgeoning Biden campaign, confident that he has the resume and chops to give President Trump the thrashing he deserves in 2020. Look a little deeper, though, and it is clear that the protective force field that surrounded Barack Obama also protected Joe Biden. The powers that purported that the Obama administration was scandal-free also created an artificial Joe Biden.

In 2011 on a trip to China, Biden declared that he “fully understands” China’s one-child policy. That policy led to many female babies being killed, abandoned or orphaned.
Joe Biden is well liked by many and has been a supporter of the military and law enforcement for a long time, but that won’t win the hearts of the progressive primary voter. They want the 2008-2016 version of him, but like so much else from the Obama-era TV show, that plaster facade will likely be torn down with the rest of the set.
In a very real way, Biden is really the Beta version of AOC. The stupid has been perfected in her, but it was pretty darned effective even in the beta version.

I believe Biden is formidable, but his real struggle won’t be against DJT but rather the socialist left of his party. We will need every vote but I don’t see Biden attracting the kids in the Bernie-wing.
It is a false narrative that Biden is a “nice guy”. Biden is not a nice guy, he’s a jerk. NeverTrumpers like to say Joe’s a nice guy, what BS.
