Buttigieg, 37, married his 29-year-old husband in June 2018.
“Yeah, I don’t know exactly when and how we’re going to pull that off, but Chasten is made to be a dad,” he told NBC’s “Today” show. “I’m looking forward to it too, as soon as we can figure it out.”
A Washington Post profile of Chasten published last week said the potential White House inhabitant has thought about what kind of first gentleman he would be if Buttigieg wins the 2020 presidential election.
“Maybe he would promote the arts or work to elevate the role of teachers in society,” the profile said. “Maybe he would focus on raising the children he and Pete want to have.”
The 2020 presidential hopeful said last month his campaign has “slowed down the path” of having children.
“My husband, he is made for a lot of things,” Buttigieg told MSNBC. “He is a great educator. He has become a great public figure, coming out of the gate. But he’s also going to be an amazing father. I can't wait to see — I hope I will be good at it, too — but I can't wait to see him have that chance."

Funny, they try to say making babies is not what a marriage is for. Then say they need babies to make their family complete. So they must be able to obtain them.
