Should be DNA testing these kids and their ostensible “parents” to see if the claim is backed by “science”.
I’ll bring up this story from Germany that fits well into this situation.
About four years ago...social services in Germany was getting all hyper about young kids from migrant ‘families’ who’d entered into the country, got onto the visa-program acceptance deal, and then weeks later....the kid or kids disappear. At some point, in this national ‘worry’, they were suggesting around 3k to 5k of kids who’d up and disappeared (possibly taken by pediphiles).
Well, one day...a immigrant ‘father’ in Frankfurt reported his young 8-year old son had gotten lost while accompanying the father on the Frankfurt subway system. It was only ‘father’ and ‘son’ in this family...the wife had ‘died’ prior to arriving in Germany.
So the Frankfurt cops have this interesting video-cam system in the subways. They can see literally thousands of points along the hundred-odd subway stations around the city. So they wanted to quickly interview the ‘father’ and determine the point, and narrow their search. This guy just wasn’t that cooperative.
Eventually, they did get an image of the kid being taken to a regular train, bound for Belgium. The kid entered with the ‘father’ observing this. So they brought the ‘father’ in and said you need to respond with the answers. He came to admit that the kid wasn’t his kid, and he’d borrowed this kid from a relative in Belgium, to help his case for settlement into Germany, and ensure that he got a private apartment (as a single guy, he’d have to share an open room with a number of other guys).
Cops never said much after that discovery, and the social services folks have totally shut down their worry about 3k migrant kids who’ve disappeared. All of that was a hoax driven by the fact that the Germans never confirmed the family existed in the first place.
