Douglas County sheriff Tony Spurlock told a morning news conference that one of the suspected shooters at the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) School in Highlands Ranch, previously identified as male, was a female under the age of 18. The other suspect was Devon Erickson, 18, he said.

Denver's ABC television affiliate, citing an unidentified police source, reported on Tuesday that one of the suspects wanted to transition to male from female and had been bullied for it.
Spurlock declined to answer a reporter's question about whether the younger suspect was transgender.

And now it’s the victims’ fault, as usual. She’d “been bullied” - frankly, I doubt it, most of the kids were probably puzzled, she probably wasn’t popular anyway so most of them didn’t even know her, and if she think’s she’s “transitioning,” she’s got problems anyway.
Not surprised this happened in an affluent, white area. Kids from that background seem to be the mostly likely to decide that God made a mistake. But we do have to ask why all these girls from that background are suddenly deciding they want to be boys.
I’d suspect a lot of it has to do with fear of/rejection of the sexual pressure on girls in those environments, things such as sexting, etc. Girls no longer feel they have any protection and probably don’t even feel that their terribly modern, totally amoral parents would provide them any protection from pressure from their sex-saturated environment and classmates. So what better than to suddenly decide you’re not a girl after all?
And since that’s a politically favored status, you can then get back at everybody around you.
It seems to me that the common sense is prevalent and most comments are reasonably fairly worded (opinions and officially unverified comments are noted as such), but I would not classify them as solidly conservatie, but valuable enough to read most of 'em.

There appeared to be a deliberate omission of the Transgender male to female detail about one suspect, and the title was short enough that I could add that detail in parenthesis, so I did.
I agree that Transgender individuals are nearly all, mentally ill and need treatment and help, not surgical mutilation.
The little pervert is not a "suspect"... It is a witnessed crime with positive identification...
If the media even reports this person is a cross dresser, it will be that evil Christians drove him/her/it over the edge and got what they deserved. Not a single outlet will report on the Christian hate since they consider that normal.
