39,000 for clothing is not unusual. I have a friend who makes suits for wall streeters. In 2008 he was charging 25,000 per suit and there are many others who do the same work as there is good demand. I am good with that expenditure.

I don’t know Wayne LaPierre from a hole in the ground. What I do know is that shall-issue is gaining ground across the country. Stand your ground has spread across the map in a way no one thought possible. Overall, he has done good work. If he feels he needs to spend a few hundred grand on personal expenses per year, heck, I think of it as a bonus for the results he’s garnered. Ollie North might well be better on expenses than LaPierre. He’s an unknown quantity results-wise, though.

Those happy with paying dues to cover $25,000 suits...have at it. Me? I have no respect for someone who pays more for a suit than I pay for a car. Particularly when he charges it to me!

All those letters I get from the NRA saying it is an emergency? They go in the trash. Seems the emergency is covering for 1/1,000th of a suit!
