Example number one million that every office should have a term limit.

Wayne LaPierre expensed $39,000 in clothes in one day,

So? Dude's gotta look good. If it's not a regular expense, I got no issue with this.

$18,300 for car and driver

Same thing here. Over what period of time? A month? That might be excessive. A year? Less so, in fact, leaning toward miserly.

NRA says board has ‘full confidence’ in him

Me too. Wayne has done Yeomans Work for the NRA.

Reinstate Ollie if they ever want another dime from me. Board tried to cover the corruption or at least put their heads in the sand.

The 2nd amendment is too important to be left in such a board which overlooks such malfeasance. Fire him and the board.

If this is where my dues are going, I’m out. I’ll find another gun rights organization.

Why does everyone keep saying he has to go? Maybe you should consider if you should be supporting such excess? Maybe the NRA has lost its way?

Consider this, the NRA is to gun owners what Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are to blacks.

Neither want to solve anything because they have created an industry for themselves.
Neither has any product or any liability but make money hand over fist, it’s a incredible business model!! Pure profit.
How many times has the NRA sold out this clearly stated phrase, “ A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.“ ?

If this article is true it just goes to show how much of a clear divide there is between the ruling class elites (which LaPierre is a member obviously) and us peasant commoners.

Is this allegation true? That is the first question that everyone should be asking. If it turns out to be true, then LaPierre needs to be gone and the entire board should be required to resign. If they don’t do this then the NRA is gone. That would only benefit the Democrats.

No wonder they keep calling me for donations. Misuse of funds is why I stopped donating to the Florida Republican party years ago.

Pursuit of litigation is a dangerous double-edged sword. The NRA sued their long-time advertising agency, accusing them of overbilling and failing to provide adequate support for expenditures for which they were seeking reimbursement. It seems that someone in the know is now revealing that Mr. LaPierre may have been in on (and perhaps one of the principal beneficiaries of) the alleged overbilling scheme. Stay tuned.

Whose bidding is Ollie doing? Establishment spook using establishment media. LaPierre is paying for the “European style socialists” speech at CPAC.

$24 MM in legal fees this past year? This is getting very interesting:

Leaked Documents: NRA Racked Up $24 Million in Legal Bills
Docs show former president Oliver North warning that legal fees “pose an existential threat to the financial stability of the NRA.”

If one tenth of these allegations are true, I rescind my previous endorsement of LaPierre and call for him to resign. The NRA is too important of an organization to be compromised.

They do too much fund raising to their members. I think they use their membership dues to fund their fundraising activities.

Money corrupts everything.

How to keep social/religious/charitable organizations true to their mission, focused and uncorrupt over the long-term when many $$millions are involved??

There must be some literature on this.

Just like the Girl Scouts, United Way and so many others.

The top take the money and beg for us to give more.

Member off and on for too many years to count.
