"In a 1994 law review article, he wrote that "a scientific explanation exists for the higher incidence of AIDS in the gay community. Homosexuals are more promiscuous than heterosexuals, and thus their risk factor increases exponentially."
During his confirmation hearing, Lee said he was "embarrassed" by the article.
In a 1995 article, he questioned why a women would keep working for a man who had assaulted her, writing that if "a lecherous professor grabs a students breast, the last thing she would do is continue to accompany him on another trip let alone four more trips just so she can hold on to a part-time job."
Lee apologized for his writings on sexual assault, saying during his confirmation hearing that at the time he didn't understand workplace dynamics."
What is embarrassing or incorrect about these writings ? If he's apologizing for them, he's already caved to PC and will not be a Conservative judge.

That’s exactly what I thought. What he wrote is TRUE.

Technically, he was “embarassed” because it was dug up.
He may not have understood “workplace dynamics” as much as he does now.
Both answers can be correct without him changing his logic.
A Senate confirmation hearing is not a place for debating esoteric logical points.
That is how we lose.

What’s embarrassing is that if he doesn’t apologize, he will get Borked. So he apologized. I would apologize. A confirmation hearing is not the place to fight these culture war battles. The sad thing is that a lot of women look at these things as a litmus test and will unseat the RINO’s in the purple states that give us a Senate majority if they are seen to support men who don’t prostrate themselves before women. Revoke the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote, and that problem goes away. Which will happen, never.

"...f "a lecherous professor grabs a students breast, the last thing she would do is continue to accompany him on another trip let alone four more trips just so she can hold on to a part-time job."" Despite several readings of that statement it is impossible to imagine even the slightest valid criticism about it...
