Joshua Suarez beat Stage 4 Testicular Cancer, and now is ready to graduate high school in Texas.
"To say that I've beaten cancer is to say what can I not beat?", he told Fox 13. "Going across that stage is more proof that I've made it."
He has come back from weighing 140 lbs. as well as eleven rounds of chemotherapy, the news outlet reported, and now he is ready for adulthood.
"God gives His strongest obstacles to His strongest soldiers, and as soon as I got that text, I just knew that God was with me," he told Fox 13. "Whatever God has planned for me I accept. If it's to fight I'm fighting until the end. But if it's not I'm ready to go."
He will get his diploma on May 25th.
Next year he's off to Albion College in Michigan to major in Art and Pre-Med. He wants to grow up and be an oncologist. "I got my second chance," he said. "And I'm hoping to give that to others."

I’m happy for your recovery and survival. That must be an ordeal you will never forget, but one you may need to put out of your mind once in a while and focus on the present.
I am hearing a lot of cases here recently, about Stage 4 cancer patients surviving and even thriving long after a doctor’s prognosis. Maybe certain cancers have become easier to treat, with chemotherapy less essential.
My ex was diagnosed stage 4 year ago in April, she is doing good and celebrated our daughters wedding yesterday!
With latest treatments, cancer is becoming more of a chronic malady rather than a fatal disease.

Pancreatic cancer has just about the lowest 1 and five year survival rates. If it isn’t diagnosed until it is stage 4, the one-year survival rate is just 1%.
Testicular cancer is very treatable, even at stage 4. I’m happy for him; however, once cancer spreads to the liver or lungs, the likelihood of it coming back at some point is pretty high. It might be a few years, or it might be over a decade.

Immunotherapy, and maybe viral therapy will lead to either cures or greatly extended survival rates.
So far, metastatic prostate cancer has been very resistant to immunotherapy, but there are lots of clinical trials that will help many, many men now and in the future.

The event was very traumatizing and I am currently in counsel over that and other things that have happened to me, as of late finally escaping an abusive spouse.
I believe the reason that my miraculous recovery is still very much in the forefront is that it is a testimony that no matter how bad things get, it is like Joshua Suarez when he said that God allows the toughest of Earthly battles to occur to those who are the strongest of His Children, and also that it definitely strengthens the bond we have with Him and makes for a powerful witness to others.
The Gospel is what saved my soul from eternal damnation and birthed a New Life in me through Christ Jesus. I and all believers in Him are to preach that Good News until His Return—but the Lord will raise up 144,000 who will continue to preach Jesus’ death, burial, and Resurrection to those who remain on the Earth during the Great Tribulation.
Some very serious events will unfold before He Comes, which we will be affected by directly or indirectly in a physical or emotional manner.
