America was founded by (and largely for) people willing to bet everything on the belief that there’s no theological question so weighty or complex that it can’t be resolved by an ordinary believer flipping through the Bible. Nowadays even Catholics believe that. It was Fr. Ronnie Knox who said a century ago that America is the happy hunting ground of religious sectarianism.

Gillibrand is currently at 1.0% nationally, 0.7% in Iowa, and doesn’t even register in NH. So she thinks she can get attention by making extreme statements in favor of abortion. At this point, I’m not sure if she could live stream herself murdering a baby and get any traction in the polls.

A majority of Alabama legislators exercised their FREE WILL to vote on a law intended to save lives. They were elected by the voters to improve the lives of their citizens whether Christian or not. So, tell me again how this violates the Christian faith?
