Former Vice President Joe Biden is running for president in 2020, but he did not appear for any Memorial Day events on Monday.
There were no events on Biden’s public schedule the entire Memorial Day weekend, at a time when presidential candidates typically march in Memorial Day parades, meet with the troops, or visit a cemetery to honor the fallen.
The former vice president has not held a campaign rally since last Saturday in Philadelphia.
“I promise you this – no one – no one – is going to work longer and campaign harder to win your trust and support than this son of Catherine Eugenia and Joseph Biden!” Biden boasted in his speech.
After attending a pair of fundraisers early last week in Florida, the former vice president went dark.
The Biden campaign did not respond to a request for comment from Breitbart News.
Mayor Pete Buttigieg attended a Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremony and a parade in South Bend, Indiana, on Monday, and Sen. Bernie Sanders held a series of ice cream socials with voters in New Hampshire on Monday and outlined his anti-war foreign policy on Sunday.
Biden issued a statement on Twitter to recognize Memorial Day, but where he spent the weekend is unclear:

Lots of fundraisers, tiny rallies, short speeches, not answering questions, depending on DNC and media to anoint him, just like Hillary Clinton in 2015/16. I say, Keep it up Creepy Joe, you can then write a book blaming everyone but yourself and go on a speaking tour in 2021, again, just like Hillary.
Joe knows that, like Hilary, his numbers start dropping the moment he actually shows his face.

He’s pulling a Hillary, likely because he’s an older person with limited energy reserves. No surprise if a Scooby Van appears for his use.
Hopefully, Gropey will soon be indicted and locked up in a cell with Crooked Hillary and all their cohorts in crime against our Republic!!
And, as a word of warning to all Democrat contenders, Trump is going to make sure this is a BLOODY campaign (the Country deserves no less).
Joe Biden is just like “disgusting, low life, Hillary Clinton...lazy, boring & useless. In fact: with few exceptions very few Democrat, 2020 POTUS, Candidates or not candidates, could give a single, darn hoot about honoring the women & men that gave their lives for the American Nation and “all” its people. They could care less...they only worship themselves and gaining the power to control the lives of all Americans, from cradle to grave.
Thank God....that Donald J. Trump is the current POTUS...he honors, loves and takes care of our military folks, whether they are living or passed on...Trump & the overwhelming majority of the American people know the sacrifice that all of our military folks make to keep America safe & free!!!
