First large group from Africa apprehended

DEL RIO, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Del Rio Station apprehended a large group of 116 individuals Thursday.

“Large groups present a unique challenge for the men and women of the Del Rio Sector,” said Chief Raul Ortiz. “This large group from Africa further demonstrates the complexity and severity of the border security and humanitarian crisis at our Southwest border.”

Agents performing line watch operations apprehended the group after they illegally crossed the Rio Grande into the U.S. around 10:30 p.m.

This is the first large group apprehended in the Del Rio Sector and the first large group of people from Africa – including nationals from Angola, Cameroon and Congo - apprehended on the Southwest border this year.

Agents have encountered 182 large groups of more than 100 individuals across the Southwest border so far this fiscal year.

Wow— Other than Mexican— amazing information. Agree with you r registering etc the needed workers.

Now— as to how did these OTMs get into Mexico? How did Cameroonian Africans get there— by air, freighter? How.

They cannot be allowed into the US, much less Mexico. This is the drug cartel’s money at work over... in Africa would bet.

Germany used to have “Gastarbeiter” (Guest Workers), from Turkey & Morocco, among other places, decades ago. They are still there. They never left.

Tomas, who DOES speak Spanish (though his family came to TX when it was New Spain) said that several of the OTM seemed to be from East Asia & he thought that they might be Chinese nationality.
Other members of the group that he caught seemed to be from SEVERAL nations & spoke “Everything except Spanish”, according to Tomas.

I cannot tell you how these ILLEGALS entered Mexico but OTM are REALLY COMMON now as “border crossers”/ILLEGAL ALIENS.

On another subject: in 1986, during The Texas Wagon Train, I was told the following story by an old-time USBP agent:

I was working the border area then, south & just east of the line. I entered a small Mexican cafe & saw a man who appeared to be a Mexican national & who was eating a big plate of food.
I asked him, “Senor, of what country are you a citizen?”
He said, “Of Mexico, Senior.”

I said, “OK. What are you doing on this side of the border?”

The man said, “I’m eating tamales”.

I allowed him to finish his lunch & then apprehended him to return him to Mexico.

When I put him up on my horse behind me, “Ole Blue” started cutting up & pitched us both into a patch of Spanish Dagger & Prickly Pear.

As I picked the stickers out of my hide, I thought, “I’d bet that this is the first time that one Blue Roan stud-horse has thrown the citizens of 2 different countries into the same patch of cactus.”

When the old-time BP Agent finished his story, I couldn’t help but laugh.

yours, tex

.

I remember the Brazero program. But do Goodyear’s came along and closed the migrant camps located on farms. Then the temps had to rent places in town. Then the stayed forever.
Then they said the local kids who had been joyfully helping pick crops were too young to learn how to work, making more so called temporary workers necessary.

Yes, those “charities” exist, but in the past it was George Soros “charities” that financed those coming in prior caravans.

I’m sure there is a screening process to determine if they are MS13 or terrorists.

But yes, it is a big issue.

The Muslims are the ones that won’t and that are taught to hate their host country. Some are from Africa.

I’m from a farm family and remember the bracero program. The solution is to “fix” Mexico.

Nothing short of an invasion and conquest destroying “La mordida” and the Patron culture will stop this.

If those Africans paid a cartel, they were probably brought over in the dead of night to avoid attention, and maybe acting as mules to pay the coyotes for the trip...

My 1st husband worked on the park facilities Amistad-he was a PE-if he worked there all week, I’d pack up the cub and go join him on the weekend and we’d go fishing on the lake. We liked to night fish-but not there-there were narco cartel boats going back and forth smuggling drugs and people-so we only fished during the day, when it was safe-that was in the early 80’s...

Several people have disappeared from boats and jet skis in the middle of the day since 2000-and one of my cousins who still lives in the area says it isn’t even safe during the day unless you don’t go out on the water alone or unarmed...

Bringing in deadly African diseases. How many with Ebola? They had 2 escape and disappear back in April that were being monitored for Ebola.

So, how the heck did these poor starving people get to Mexico? Swim? I - don’t - think - so. Someone like Soros is ramping up the game to destroy the US.
