Big Ag, that is the globalist multinationals, are addicted to cheat labor. Like the plantation owners of the pre-Civil War south, they use their money and power to protect their own interests, not what is in the best interests of America or American citizens.

There are very few true conservatives and loyal Americans anywhere near the District of Collusion. They sell their souls to get there and then obey their big donors once elected.

True suicide for them while the border is swamped. I guess we’re pathetic as a country if we can’t stand up to anyone.

Of course the Washington Post would like nothing better than to drive a wedge between Republicans for the upcoming election but this issue if mishandled by Republican senators has the potential to antagonize the base enough to throw the election.

From a POLITICO article:
“Several Republican aides said that because the White House hasn’t sent official language to the Hill, they were unsure whether a congressional vote to block the tariff increase will be possible”

A glimmer of hope?

Trump does have the option of declaring a second National Emergency to apply the tarriffs.
All is not lost. (yet)

Trump’s people should be keeping score on these willful acts of treason by these House Republicans. If it were up to me, their names would be read every night on Hannity. Hannity loves to repeat stuff ad nauseum, so this process would be perfect for his show.

Maybe on this trip someone in England can gift the President with a desk-top replica of a guillotine,

...one that he can point to when some of these back-stabbers come into the Oval Office for ‘consultations’.

Not sure this is real. Are there really enough Mitt Romney / John McCain RINOs to suicide the Republican party like this?

Maybe they aren’t reporting news, they’re making it.

Perhaps their “discussing” this matter is nothing more than answering the questions Politico asked them.

Mexico, China and others have bought our politicians. That should stop.

But this is a WaPo #FakeNews story meant to feed the socialist swine who are convinced that Trump is hated by everyone, including the GOP.

Ignore this drivel.

Plenary , executive powers .
Screw Congress , and screw elections .
Good to go with THIS MAN ,unimpeded, for 10-12 yrs or so .
Elections have become completely corrupted by the Democrats ,whom should be 100% outlawed and banned from American politics .

Isn’t Trump just using the tariff threat as a pressure point to force Mexico to get jumping on the border crisis (and it’s working, too!)?

And now the GOP wants to undermine that?

How do we make the GOP afraid of us? We the people have to do something. The only thing I can think of at the moment is to resign from the party. Perhaps if there was a mass exit from the party, every person who cares about this goes to the registrar and changes his/her party affiliation to another conservative party or to independent might send a strong signal. On the other hand, maybe that is not effective. I don’t know, but we need to get organized and do something or our country is lost.
