“The biggest mistake that the worlds industrialized nations made in the 80s and 90s was to open their ports to Chinese made goods.”
Remember, Hillary was on the Board of Directors of Walmart for many years prior to Walmart funding Bill’s presidential primary run.
And Charlie Trie and the 30 Chinese Nationals who donated big time to Bill’s reelection and were never prosecuted!

It went (way) beyond Clinton.
Trump is the FIRST AMERICAN leader, the first one, ever, to be for America. In my humble opinion.
For thirty years, everyone has been selling us out, as fast as they possibly can.
Everyone.

Dont know your point in that post. Namely that there has always been an uneasy, sometimes even violent anti-Chinese sentiment, based on the Chinese undercutting of American prices, and other "dirty tricks," as expressed in the poem.

Chinese can be exactly the same.
Maybe even more unified.

Have the Chinese not heard of the fault line? Or is this a toehold? The Japanese made that same mistake back in the 80s.

If one of these were sunk it may be another sinking of the U.S.S.Maine in Havana harbour.
Good times.

I thought the Japanese were the sneaky ones. Loral and the Clintons were always out there waiting to profit. Now the Germans are buying Russian gas.

History is repeating itself.
More and more the China of today seems like the Japan of the 1930’s.
It’s eery.
We have been down this path before.

Well soon China won't have the money to sail the high seas as Trump is doing to them what Reagan did to Russia. If the Chicoms are using their own steel in those warships they won't be afloat very long. 😆

Howard and Downer accurately described what the ANZUS Treaty says - it only takes effect if there is an attack on the metropolitan territory or in the Pacific on one of the partners.
It doesn’t apply in any other circumstance.
That is why the only time it has been invoked was after September 11 because in that case there was an attack on the metropolitan territory of the United States.
But that does not mean Australia would not to the aid of the US as an ally in the case of war with China.
ANZUS did not apply in Vietnam, or in the Gulf War of 1991, or in the Iraq War of 2003. Australia still provided support to the US as an ally in all those cases.
ANZUS does not define the entire alliance between Australia and the US - it exists to deal with one specific circumstance - an attack on the partners.
