This is not the way this has been done in the past. This amounts to an abuse of power for Trump to bully our Mexican friends into submission. He has gone rogue and will start a war with Mexico. He must be brought back into line with the way things are done in our democracy. This is not who we are.

I think Rush reported today that Mexico had arrested two honchos who have been organizing caravans to the U.S. Also, that they had frozen the assets of some organizations who have been funding the caravans. Hope someone can verify that I understood this correctly.

To those who dont believe Mexico will uphold their end, you need to think things through. Not only does Mexico need access to the US to sell goods manufactured there, they are dependent on the foriegn investors that have put the manufacturing there. Right now every company that has put manufacturing in Mexico is right now requesting guarantee that Mexico will uphold their end of the deal.

The beauty of Trumps use of tariffs is that it put the US in a no lose situation. Mexico either fixed the immigration issue, or all the manufacturing in Mexico would move to the US.
