Limbaugh: Here's Why Trump Should Start Going To California
Dailywire.com ^ | June 11, 2019 | James Barrett

Rush Limbaugh offered a piece of counterintuitive advice to Donald Trump on his radio program Tuesday: "Go to California, Mr. President."

"I made a brilliant observation yesterday about the Democrats in California," said Limbaugh (transcript via RushLimbaugh.com). "Democrats in LA are appalled that homelessness in their city is rising and so much of it, and they’re mad that the Democrat candidates for president are not talking about it. And I told the people of LA (and I’ll do it again today), 'The Democrats are not gonna talk about your problems. They already own you! They don’t need to fix a damn thing in California.'"

Democrats know every election cycle that they will get all of California's electoral votes and the dominance of the Democratic Party in the state means that Republicans effectively "don't exist" on the Left Coast.

"Democrat candidates for president have got nothing to gain by going to California and pointing out what’s happening there," said Rush. "They’ve got nothing but anything to lose by doing that. If they go to California and start complaining, you can’t blame Republicans for it because the Republicans have nothing to do with what life is like in California now. That’s totally owned by the Democrats."

It's "the age-old adage," he said. "They cannot be hurt by ignoring California. They can only be harmed by calling attention to it." With that in mind, said Limbaugh, he's been thinking about a new strategy for Trump: "start going to California."

"I think he ought to go there once a month," he explained. "I think the Republican National Committee ought to schedule a debate in California. I think the campaign should have ads showing and highlighting the homelessness in downtown Los Angeles and pointing out that this is what happens when Democrats run things with no opposition, no checks, no balances."

Too much voter fraud there to win.

Great idea Rush! Wonder how many of the homeless were/are actual residents of CA?

It is already is a foreign country.

- and a hostile foreign county at that. The security problems would be intractable. President Trump would need a military battalion for an escort.

It would make for some dramatic election theatre. But it would not be worth the risks.

Better to take shots at this Democrat-ruined State from a safe distance.

The more California votes Trump can get, the harder they will have to cheat. This wastes their resources defending a “safe” state and raises the risk one of their clown college graduate vote fraud operatives will slip up and commit a few felonies that can’t be hidden.

Trump could potentially inspire millions of disgruntled, disaffected citizens to start voting again - a huge nightmare for Democrats, who rely heavily on suppression of the “normal” vote in places like California.

Can we afford the security, you ask...

Well in 2016 I uploaded several video and articles of people, including women and children being physically assaulted outside of Trump rallies.

1. San Jose- the pretty young blond cornered outside the Hilton by a pack of wild dogs, I mean men, by the dozens. And they egged her, she was going get beat badly, they had her cornered. Finally security allowed her to come in the hotel for protection.

2. San Jose - the big guy that ‘walked the liberal gauntlet and was repeatedly attacked and his MAGA hat stolen and sign ripped away. He was followed by a cameraman which is why it didn’t escalate.

3. Costa Mesa- the young couple whose cars was surrounded again by mad dogs which tried to flip the car, banged on the windshields, spray painted the car and terrorized them as they phoned 911.

4. Costa Mesa- the cop car flipped and destroyed by democrat hoodlums while the cops did not respond to any of this mess or assaults or make many arrests.

5. Anaheim- the Hispanic mom & two young daughters who had their faces tear-gassed by leftists and an elderly Hispanic man attacked at the same venue.

California will be rough, very rough and hostile.

The only city Pres. Trump visited in California that maintained safety and crowd control was San Diego. They had a huge presence of LEO & military presence due to the location of the naval base.

At least 1/3 of California is conservative.

Remember, Cali voted down gay marriage (Proposition #8) in 2008; one black-robed man overturned the will of the Californians.

The state has many great people that still live there.

POTUS enjoys the good fight.

California is demonstrative of what becomes of America if the other 49 don’t wake up fight back.

2016 the media was mainly mum on the violence and rioting outside the Trump rallies. They know it shows who they are to the rest of America and it ain’t good.

The homelessness is in almost every city now. Businesses have to have homeless patrols. Even in San Diego.

Untapped?

Are you aware that after Texas and Florida it was
California which provided Trump with the most popular
votes in 2016? Trump has a fair start although the
ballot counting raises more questions every election.

I still believe there are about a million votes out there for Trump that didn’t bother in 2016.

This is a good point. The white vote is lost out there, but the hispanic vote is ripe for the picking. All he has to do is say “In 2016 I told blacks that Dems didn’t care about them and to vote for me. What do you have to lose? Black unemployment is at an all time record low. Lower than any democrat ever had it. I’ve made America Great Again, and I can do it for CA. What do you have to lose...I mean what’s left that the do nothing democrats haven’t already taken away from you that is!”
