A massive fire has erupted at the Philadelphia Energy Solutions refinery in Southwest Philadelphia shaking nearby homes and sending thick smoke into the air. Homes as far away as South Jersey were rocked by a series of explosions as the blaze, which erupted shortly after 4 a.m., burned. Some residents in Philadelphia said the explosions knocked art off their walls. The fire is contained on the property off Passyunk Avenue of the refinery, fire officials said shortly before 6 a.m. Authorities have not yet said if any workers were injured or not.

That is the former Sunoco refinery. I was there after PES took over and have been in many parts of the campus.
I am not sure where this fire is centered and what exploded, but it does not seem to be the FCC.
Wouldn’t be Iran sending a signal would it, via hezbollah crazies moled in the U.S.
Back in the day (way back) in NJ, you’d aim the TV antenna at NY if you wanted news about murders. If you wanted fires - aim it at Philly. (seriously!)

I think something blew up at the Marcus Hook refinery back in the 90s...
That would be Mayor Goode.
I believe that was Wilson Goode. The Philadelphia police got the explosives from the FBI, who are always eager to help in that sort of situation.

Aanybody here remember the Bayway refinery explosion back in 1970?
I lived in Springfield, about ten miles away, and thought it happened there.
That, or Iran doing it for similar reasons.
One of the videos on youtube shows a huge tank launching like a rocket out of the frame. As the lens zooms out to see the fire ball, you can see an enormous splash off to the left. If that had hit a neighborhood...
