It was around 1980 my husband and I stopped to eat at a Mexican restaurant around 100 miles North of the border in New Mexico. The back of the menu had the map and a little bit about it. I was so shocked, had never seen or heard of it.
When asking Hispanic friends about it they told me it was a “thing” in Mexico that was growing and that in schools they are taught that our SW is not rightfully US land. The interesting thing is the upper class who went to private schools in Mexico said they were not taught that, and they thought it was a joke and people who believed it were nuts.
Kevin de león was president of the state senate. He got up on the floor in the senate chamber and bragged that he had assisted half his family who were illegals to come and stay in the country. That right there called for an investigation. Trump and ICE did nothing.
De León is the head of the Reconquista movement in CAL.
In Cal they flaunt the feds. Look at how the mayor of Oakland got away with announcing the raid schedule and AG Becera warned business to not cooperate with ICE. Dozens of sanctuary cities. Nothing happened.
Good game...alas the Republican team lost 14-7.
Louisiana Republican Rep. Steve Scalise got a hit and scored. If you recall, Steve was seriously injured 2 years ago when a gunman opened fire on a Republican team practice session.
There were even some women Representatives on the teams, all taking good cuts at the plate.
All in all, it was a fun watch. I just didn't want to watch the "debate....which turned out to be just as I expected....no runs, no hits...and 20 errors.

I find this group to be dull compared to the Wednesday performers.
“Russia” is being blamed for any positive comments about Tulsi’s performance. Dem establishment HATES her.

LOL, well put, although I think 20 errors is “low balling” it, pardon the pun.
I’m gonna ping my list on this.
So, I did not watch either night. Last night I watched “Last Man Standing.” (Appropriate, no?)
Anyway, based on the media reaction (which is all you need, because as Rush says, the Hoax News Media IS picking the DemoKKKrat candidate):
*Betamale is finished.
*Biteme is on life support, but fading
*The Hoax News media wants a combo of Harris and/or Warren.
*Dinobernie is still a threat. He is terrible in debates. But he has oodles of $, still has a pretty good ground organization from 2016 who are rabidly committed to him, and, in DemoKKKrat states where it is not winner take all, Dinobernie more than anyone else has the ability to come in second consistently when he doesn’t win. NO ONE ELSE DOES.
In those states where, say, Biteme wins, Dinobernie will be second. In those states where Harris wins, Dinobernie will be second, and so on. This amounts to a LOT of delegates. He only has to win a reasonable share of 1st place finishes and he will tally a lot of delegates others do not get from his second place finishes.
But we’ll see. Richard Baris tells me his polling shows the Dinobernie fans were livid that he got screwed in 16 and will NOT vote for any other DemoKKKrat in 20 if they screw Dinobernie again.
Oh, and on another matter, the USSC cases. These were two big wins. The Gerrymander case has the libs freaking out. They can no longer use the courts to overrule state-drawn maps like WI and NC.
The citizenship question was a delayed win. Lib Jeffrey Toobin says citizenship will be on the forms; Judge Nap, who is always wrong, says it won’t be. Lib bloggers are going nuts, which is a good sign.

Once long ago, The Cisco Kid, Duncan Renaldo, came to Barron Stadium in Rome, GA. I was around five years old. As the warm-up to his appearance, there was a very small clown car that drove onto the field and an endless stream of clowns climbed out of it. I'll never forget that. Once was enough.

Larry, I don’t think most people, even most Dems, are going to like the idea of illegals getting health care. That is not going to help the Dems. Do you think it will be a big factor?
