Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler (D-Ore.) is facing backlash for his continued tolerance of Antifa violence in his city, following the attack of Quillette reporter Andy Ngo.
On Saturday, Ngo was covering a protest between a white supremacist Proud Boys group and the local Antifa protesters. During the protests, a group singled out Ngo who has an extensive record of covering Antifa protests to highlight violent outbreaks and attacked him.
The group hit him with milkshakes that reportedly contained a concrete mixture and proceeded to beat him.

Some speculated that Wheeler may have ordered the police to stand down from the Antifa mob, as he as done in the past. During protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last year, Wheeler ordered police to stand down as his city devolved into chaos.
As IJR reported at the time, Wheeler ordered his police not to defend ICE officers from the Antifa mob because the agency was on the wrong track.

The Mayor’s Brownshirts.
Nothing will be done until some of the ANTIFAs are in body bags. Then the mayor will blame it on gun owners.
Portland Police Department (503) 823-9704
call and make yourself heard.... either we start taking a stand or we accept the boot of the left on our necks indefinitely.
So when will the Justice department act against this elected public official that colluded with the Antifa terrorists to violate the civil rights of Mr. Ngo? Reminiscent of the KKK, Democratic elected officials, elected sheriffs and police under their control.
The mayor likely was behind one of the black masks.
They should RECALL him
The police and the mayor are just as guilty of assault as the anatifa scum that did the actual attack - accessories before the fact would be the term I use. I wonder the the local stasi would stand by if one of their own were attacked or if a group started to beat up the mayor. (both scenarios would provide an informative response on what the role of the police actually is - i.e. enforce the whims of the government when they’re not shaking down citizens with fines for all sorts of trivial things.)
The KKK was once the terrorist arm of the Democrat party. Now they have Antifa.

DemocRat party assisting masked thugs.
1870 - 2019.
Nothing has changed.
Wheeler, the mayor of Portland, should be charged with federal charges of conspiracy to violate civil rights for a start.
If our side wanted to make this nasty, it would be very easy. ANTIFA dresses in black and wears masks. So easy to spot. So easy to deal with. A great big crowd? So easy to disappear. Especially if you have friends in the crowd that want to help you disappear.
Street violence stops being fun when both sides play.
Lol. Backlash really hurts.
with extreme prejudice
Already happened.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That’s what they’re secretly hoping for so they have an excuse to disarm the citizens.
Cuz I'm hot, and they're total pussies, THAT is why.
It's simple.
Ted Wheeler's MAYOR OFFICE
Ding Ding Ding. Winner.
They should unmask the ANIFAers and publish their headshots above the fold in newspapers, in grocery stores, public billboards, facebook, city hall, etc
Make them famous
“Nothing will be done until some of the ANTIFAs are in body bags. Then the mayor will blame it on gun owners.”
That is EXACTLY what they want. They will expend a few thugs to get that to achieve their take-over.
looks like a MSNBC host...
