Just dont do it.
That was the message ex-NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick delivered to Nike over the planned release of a USA-themed sneaker, which featured a Betsy Ross flag on the heel, according to a report.
Nike nixed the released of the Air Max 1 USA after having already sent the sneakers to retailers because the protesting quarterback said he felt the use of the Betsy Ross flag was offensive and carried slavery connotations, sources told The Wall Street Journal.

Knowing Kaepernick, he probably prefers his sneakers with pictures of dead soldiers, policemen and firemen on them.
And I think she would not like the flag on the heel of a shoe.
This guy needs to be placed in a cannon and shot directly into the moon.
Nike has lousy shoes anyway. I never buy any of their gear and I’m at the gym almost daily.
Matches the “cops are pigs” socks he wore during practice :(
Hullo! I wish to register a COMPLAINT!
I am sure Colon would not like any of the values the colors of flag represent: According to custom and tradition, white signifies purity and innocence; red, hardiness and valor; and blue signifies vigilance, perseverance, and justice. No wonder he is a washed up quarterback.

Nobody in my family wears NIKE...
(auto-correct...) Since DROPPING NIKE.
But since I mention it, BIC also makes a better razor than Gillette.
Diversity is a strength, right?
yes, he would.
Shirts yes...shoes no.
Hey - you have to remember - without gang-bangers, drug dealers, and street trash - Nike would lose on their high-profit, high-end shoes.
If NB (I believe mine are made in America) put out a patriotic shoe they would sell like hot cakes.
Maybe that’s why Kaepernick did it. Nike was “dissin’” the flag. LOL.
