Easy. Vote fraud.

“Of course, the Democrats dont want [that] question added to the census cause because more illegal aliens in this country and more they are counted the more electoral votes and the more power they get more seats in the House, he told TV host Lou Dobbs.”
Illegals could just answer the question “yes”. Dems are not worried about the census question so much as they wish to demagogue the issue.
Not sure where I heard it, but the addition of 11-12M illegals adds the equivalent of about 39 House members, representing non-citizens and (supposedly) non-voters.
Let’s just ask a rhetorical question. Remove politics from it for one moment and just answer on the hypothetical level;
When is more data ever bad?
In any statistical realm, the larger your data sets, both quantitatively (in the extent of your survey/sample set) and in the qualitative sense in the information that you query for, when would less ever be considered good?
When do you not want to know something?
Ironically for representation.
That doesn't make sense. the NPV Interstate Compact affects the Presidential election and makes the electoral college ineffective. And the presidential election is not influenced at all by illegals unless the illegals are committing the crime of vote fraud. And fraud wouldn't be alleviated by the NPV Compact.
The presence of illegals influence House representation, not Presidential elections, or Senate representation.
Beyond the sanctuary states, all of which reliably vote Democrat in presidential elections, it is impossible to ignore that Republican-voting Texas, Florida and Georgia have the countrys second, third and sixth highest illegal immigrant populations, according to the Pew Research Center.
This means any amnesty or so-called comprehensive immigration reform that legalizes illegal immigrants could make it nearly impossible for the GOP to win the White House under the current system. Just look at how candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination pandered to illegal immigrants in the partys first debates.

Same then as it was in the 1850s.
It was always about power. Nothing but power.
It is just one of several states that have more representatives in Congress and more votes in the Electoral College because of illegal immigrants at the expense of other states.

As I recall, this issue is covered in some detail in that old documentment we refer to as the U.S. Constitution.
I am astonished that this obvious fact was overlooked or dismissed by Justice (Yes, hes an idiot) Roberts.
I would be even more astonished if we hear that the Trump lawyers failed to note this Constitutional Issue in their arguments to the various courts including the Supreme Court.
Captain obvious already figured this out and our supreme court is making it possible. They are trapping Trump to make a path for them to go against the Supreme Court also.
I guess captain obvious will figure that out soon enough.
“I’ll take to have illegal aliens vote, for $400 Alex.”
Everything Dims are for is related to just one thing: Power over average Americans.
Money and power. Its always been their objective.
“The only real solution is the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.”
Um, no. The author passes from the acceptable to the dubious, or the ludicrous.
We have to overwhelmingly take back the house, and hold the Senate. Push bills to eject States from the union that become sanctuary States, and eject States that exceed a predetermined limitation of illegal aliens. Those States would lose all Federal benefits until they recognize, and abide by the Constitution.
The dems are worried that the question on the census might make illegals less likely to participate in the census and thus not get counted, thus denying states with high illegal populations extra representatives. The representatives lost by their not being counted would likely be democrat reps since most illegals tend to live in poorer neighborhoods which tend to vote overwhelmingly democrat.
This is not taking into account voter fraud, illegals illegally voting, eventually being granted amnesty or whatever all of which may or may not come into play as well.
Si, me es el ciudadano de USA.
No, I think this is exactly the same thing being pushed by the Democrats.
