Why was it so important to the left to redraw the districts for one election?
Easy answer: The legislature that will be elected in November will draw the new districts after the census that will be in force for the next ten years.
I can guarantee you no judges will have any problems with those districts, which will likely yield 2-1 rat advantages in both chambers!
And the once-great state of VA will begin its descent into blue-state sh@@-hole status.
Exactly. Unjustified firearm homicides carried out by legal gun owners is amazingly small compared to suicides and illegal gun crime. Democrat harping has nothing to do with actual guns. Like everything else with them, it’s about money and power and votes.
At what point will people/politicians be tried for treason for anti-gun laws and directives that put innocent lives in danger?
Not soon enough!!
A law disarming everybody in the State would have changed the outcome. Oh, wait, criminals will simply disobey the law.
Well, they don't really care those outcomes anyway. It is just a good rationalization for disarming everybody in the State. Except of course for their police and body guards.
They cannot have the peasants even thinking about refusing the impositions of the rulers, let alone possessing effective means to do so.
As I have said many, many times, just implement common-sense laws against crime in general and end it - once and for all.
VERY TRUE (Over my military career, I was stationed in VA for about 14-15 years.)
OPEN CARRY has ALWAYS been lawful, unless a local ordinance prohibited it.
(There’s a “taco joint” in Fairfax County where on Saturdays that it’s TRADITIONAL to “open carry”. = When I first was stationed at Ft Lee, a VA state trooper invited me to lunch there one Saturday & told me to be SURE to wear a GOOD pistol & in an attractive holster/gun-belt.= I walked in & thought that I was attending a gun-show.)
Note: I wore my best (circa 1970s) Colt’s Gold Cup .45ACP in an El Paso Saddlery holster/belt to lunch.
