Horrible song.
Sorry.
I just love having someone to share music memories.
At the very least.
/gallows
Yeah, I had forgotten about it but thinking back to those days reminded me.
Their sister had a real Mako Shark Corvette. I saw it. ‘68 model I think(?).
Gremlin with 401 and Levi’s interior. Oh yeah.
And then every other muscle car type produced between about 65-73.
LOL
L8r
And...I had...a Gremlin.
:D
/Hey lady. Where’s the rest of your car?
Yeah.
That never got old.
My sis had one. Gosh-awful faded purple.
Engine must have been about a 65hp four. Went to pass someone. Scared the living daylights outta me.
Question...WHAT crime would you have charged Trump with if the OLC didn’t exist???
I had a 258 with a 3 speed on the floor.
I cut down the ridiculous long throw shift to about 10” and slapped a Hurst handle on it and added a 2 barrel carb
My gear ratio was so crazy that I could beat the big 60s/70s muscle cars dragging on the Dual HWY simply because I could run up to 40 mph in 1st gear.
By the time they got done fiddling with all their gears, I was gone.
Sucker could burn rubber like mad.
It was also somewhat amphibious. LOL
Many days were spent at the river bottom running through the mud and it never got stuck.
The car was one of a kind.
In the 80s, my husband forced me to trade it in on a VW Rabbit and it was sent to Ernie’s Salvage in WV.
Two week later, my mom saw it ripping down I81 in WV with a young kid at the wheel.
When the odo broke, it had 221K... and that was a year or two before I lost it.
One of my dream cars is an AMX.
:)
Yeah AMX would be cool too.
One guy in HS had “The Machine” - it would have been cooler to learn about had he not been kinda an ________.
Anyways, off to hit the sack. Been up longer than I intended, LOL.
Thanks for the smiles.
Get too few of those, lately.
Very grateful.
:)
I like watching him and his show, not because I believe his theories but because it’s like science fiction. He’s a lot more entertaining than most shows on now.
Must have been the RUSSIANS!!!
I think the truth lies somewhere in there. However, I believe that most of Mueller's "Demented Grandpa" routine was an act.
It was a desperate move on his part in order to get through that grilling and to save his own neck.
Andrew Weissmann (who is totally evil) was the man really in charge of this sham.
See this interview with Joe diGenova:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z7e5I0oHUc&t=155s
Mueller knew that if he lied, Barr could declassify things that would pin Mueller to the wall. Mueller could be charged with lying to Congress (at a minimum).
Being a "demented Grandpa" was his only defense.
Mueller had enough of his faculties to lie time and again when he thought he could get away with it. For instance, he stated multiple times that he and James Comey were not lifelong friends, only "business partners." Complete lie. Mueller said that he had no conflicts of interest, when in fact diGenova said that Mueller was force to obtain Dept of Justice government waivers when Rosenstein appointed him Special Counsel.
It is all an act. The hair sprayed into place standing up is the giveaway.
BOL.......
I would guess that on Wednesday Mueller really had very little understanding if his own report, but Nadler and Schiff pressured him to come to the hearing anyway.
btt
You bet your ass somebody got to him! I suspect that his supposed buddy, William Barr, told him, “You spent over two years on this investigation and didn’t find shit. You start making things up in this clown show in front of your Democrat buddies, YOU will be the one going to prison. Got it?” Or words to that effect...
It also encapsulated that whenever the Dems asked a question, his desire was to immediately agree with them and then sort it out when the lie was just too big...with the Repubs, he went the other way and immediately said he wouldn’t (not “couldn’t) talk about the topic...
If he wasn’t such a POS, I’d almost fell sorry for the anile/senile ...POS
“I’d have 250 - 250 cars.”
