Not sure how you even came to that conclusion to be honest. I was responding to someone that claimed President Trump made fun of the reporter. So no I do not have a problem with what President Trump said, or freedom of speech.

There is video showing Trump making that same gesture to make fun of people who are not disabled. It’s clear to me that he did not use it to attack a disabled person.
DJT did not know that the journalist in question was disabled and that man’s disability did not involve spasticity.
Further DJT had used the same gestures on multiple occasions to convey someone who was frazzled/out of their depth.

Trump did NOT make fun of the reporters physical disabilities. He made fun of people that do not know which way is up.

There is an old clip of him using the movements to illustrate his own ‘flustration’
when faced with the thought of being on vacation.
Trump flailed his arms around to illustrated the flustration of the reporter back-tracking on his claims
and the dishonest media used a single frame of the video when Trump’s wrist was bent in a manner similar to the reporter’s to malign Trump.
