In order for this thread to be useful, people who post about known shortages should include geographic information. Otherwise, it it just a bunch of people running around sounding like Henny Penny.

BTW: The relatively new shingles vaccine, Shingrix, has been in short supply since it was introduced several years ago. (Phoenix Area)

At the time we got our first shot they had less than five doses left. Our pharmacy put us at the front of the list for our second shot, once we got the first one. That made it a lot easier for us and made it less likely that the first dose would be wasted.

Just did a search for the Austin, TX area and nearly every year there’s a report on drug shortages. The big question is why there’s a constant, ongoing and seemingly never corrected problem.

There are way too many drugs in shortage, and geographical shortages are inexact, because some hospitals will share.
