Democrats are panicking. In the wake of his many gaffes and shaky debate performances, many view front-runner Joe Biden as unable to go the distance, and unlikely to beat Donald Trump if he succeeds in winning the Democratic nomination. Which of the more than 20 other candidates in the race would be a better bet, they wonder?
This is where the angst sets in. Elizabeth Warren is too radical, Bernie Sanders too angry, Beto too absurd, Mayor Pete too young, Cory Booker too annoying, which leaves….Kamala Harris. She’s tough, she can debate, as a woman of color she checks numerous boxes, and she is whispered to be the pick of Barack Obama.
But -- and it is a big but – Harris used to work in law enforcement. By definition, that makes her suspect.
Just as President Trump has been called a racist by some, in part because he wants to check the flow of illegal immigrants into the country, Harris is under scrutiny for her work as a district attorney and then-attorney general in California.
In the second round of debates, Tulsi Gabbard took on Harris for her past career as a prosecutor. The representative from Hawaii said that Harris “put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana.”
Gabbard went on to cite other misdeeds allegedly perpetrated by Harris, including blocking “evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until the courts forced her to do so.”

Unfortunately it doesn’t matter and no one cares. You can bay at the moon all you want about her not being eligible to be President, and it won’t make any difference.

She’s still inelegible. Barry Hussein was also ineleigible.
Nobody in a position of power cares.
It casts doubt on the government’s legitimacy.
Harris is NOT eligible under Article II, section one, clause 5. There are many that want those of us who agree with me to ignore that.
I refuse to, until the matter is formally adjudicated on the merits by a competent national authority for the first time in US history.
There are no superfluous words in the constitution. Article II was meant to safeguard the office of POTUS.
Wong Kim Ark was the subject of an 1898 SCOTUS ruling involving citizenship. The court held that Wong Kim Ark was a CITIZEN (not a natural born one) by virtue of the 14th amendment, noting that his Chinese citizen parents were lawfully resident within the US at the time of his birth, and completely self supporting.
The 14th amendment was ratified in 1868. It did not exist at the time that Article II was ratified in 1787. The 14th amendment does NOT refer to, or alter the meaning of Article II in ANY way, whatever one thinks that the framers meant for Article II to accomplish.
Harris’s birth status is identical to Wong Kim Ark. She was born in CA to two lawfully resident non citizen parents. She is NOT an Article II eligible Natural Born Citizen.
Our overlords have decided that this is not an issue worth examining by adjudication. Constitutionalists know that the NBC requirement is designed to protect the office of POTUS from undue foreign influence, and it is worth observing.
Why, there are so many racists around, so they say, that they're nearly a majority. And maybe they are.
Hmmm, racism as the norm? As usual, that would mean it's leftists, going all the way back to Leon Trotsky, who are abnormal.
