I may be mistaken but I think the radio report on the incident indicated the perp had either set a fire in the house or had threatened to burn the house with the kids in it.

This definitely doesn’t sound like one of those situations where cops respond to a domestic violence complaint and both of the (formerly fighting) “domestics” turn on the cops. This guy deserved to “go”. Once again, good for the Florida Man neighbor!
