Gee, Mitt, you blew your own election in 2012. You could have had anyone you wanted in that position, but you lost your chance.
Better luck next time. /s

Romney's public comment here should dispel any delusion among Freepers that Bolton was anything other than a jackass.
Good riddance to both of these dopes.

Romney could have hired Bolton when he became president. But he lost to Osama. Looser!

Seriously? This has to be a joke. What does the Governor of MA Senator from Utah think about Bolton's position on the border security?

I wasn’t sure what to think of Bolton’s firing as I have not followed him closely, but now that douchebag Romney thinks it was a bad idea I have to assume PDJT did the right thing.
To: Helicondelta
As a 24-year veteran and being hawkish on national security, I like Bolton and don’t buy all the harsh things Tucker Carlson and others say about him. That said, MILF Romney can go **** himself. PDJT has the right to the advisers he wants, and he can (and has) hire & fire at will to get the results he wants.

The only image of Mitt I will ever again have is Mittens sitting at table with Trump begging to be Secretary for State and Trump smiling like the cat who ate the bird.

I liked John Bolton and never considered him a neo-con. He was just a warhawk in the tradition of the ww2 generation. Just because you believe in slapping people back doesn’t make you a neo-con. Neo-cons are liberals in areas other than national security.
I think Bolton crossed the line from presenting his boss his point of view over into strong advocacy and manipulation to get his way. Even after Trump made a decision.
Tell the commander your viewpoint, but after a decision is made help him implement it
