Meats cost more here now because of that utterly and completely dumba** bulls*** practice of turning feed corn into pretend gasoline.

That drove up the price of feedstock, as intended, which drove up the price of meat, as intended.

It never had a single damn thing to do with actual fuel production.

My Friend, you must not know a thing about feeding cattle or ethanol production.

The by product of ethanol production is distillers grain.

Fiber and protein content is higher in distillers grains than corn grain. Many distillers grains samples test between 25 and 35 percent protein.

Distillers Grain is some of the best cattle feed available, so good that you need to cut it with fiber such as ground corn cobs, hay, alfalfa, soy bean husks.

Couse I live in the heart of corn and cattle country.
