I doubt they have done a prolonged and comprehensive “study” on the impact these glass beads will have on the fish, birds, and other wildlife.
Let’s just put plastic straws on the glaciers!
They will insulate the ice. However if it doesn’t work we’ll have a handy way to drink the water.
