For those who don’t know about canceling Cable. Buy a Roku tv & remote. The setup is easy and fast. It works off my wifi. Any techie can set it up for you easily so there is no big expense. My daughter set mine up for me. I’m not a techie, so when I say it is easy to use, it’s true.
Do some homework on Hulu, Netflix, Stars and Sling, etc. See what shows they offer that you might be interested in viewing. I watch Fox News & Fox business on Hulu. Whoever sets it up for you can install those channels for you. I get HBO and other movies. History channel, etc. You can download OAN..I think that cost is $5 a month.
I’m saving a ton of money! No more $179 per month for a bundle. I do pay $70 per month for my internet. Check to see if there is a provider that will allow you just the internet. Some don’t. Just search all this on Duckduckgo.
If you want local news, you have to purchase an antenna which is small and placed on the nearest window. I took the antenna down as I can read my local paper online for free, therefore I can put the tv literally anywhere.
It’s not complicated to use. I’m delighted that I no longer support ESPN, CNN, etc. No 100 latino channels to support either! Let them all eat cake! :)

I just turn it off or go to something else of interest. However I do want to hear civil discussion even if I disagree with the speaker.
As usual however, too many network Hosts want to frame the discussion and rarely let the speaker answer in full. The Hosts are like Hollywood, the more they are seen and heard the better they like it.

I stopped watching all tv news 5 years ago. It was the best thing I’ve done. I like my other channels tho - which I could watch via Netflix I suppose Ie, L & O reruns

Uh - there’s several more that are anti Trump. Shep is def one of them. I stopped watching a long time ago. But, those who support Trump are very much the minority.

IIRC, DISH was attempting a new subscription drive stating they carry OAN. NOT TRUE. OAN is not found on this carrier.

I gave up all news. Including Fox. I’d rather do my own research. Who they he’ll are they to ram their opinions down my throat ? They and their stress are not welcomed in my home. Hate the MSM.

Daytime tv in our home was killed about then.
3 plus years ago we cut our cable.
We do watch the SF Giants on Sling tv. It will be cancelled this week as the Giants ended their season.
