I spent a few vacation days in Singapore in 2014. Safest city of all the big cities I have been to, and that number is large having visited 36 countries and 49 states. I would move there if we get a socialist democrat elected here, but very difficult to get a permanent resident visa in Singapore.
Not that difficult. But Singaporeans tend to be very nationalistic due to Communist China and India flooding the country with low-quality technical workers, similar to the H1B scum coming into the USA.
Indian Indians tend to riot a lot there as well and love to rape locals and foreign domestic workers from Indonesia and the Philippines.
Muslim Malays have special privileges. Halal crap food all over the place.
The Singaporean PR is not difficult, but you will pay 35% of your wages into CPF.
Forget about driving. The COE (permission to own a vehicle) costs well more than the vehicle itself.
What impressed me was having to have proof of your exit that matched your visa. If you didnt show the return ticket, you didnt get in.
