I hope people do understand that Ethiopia is Christian country—in fact, one of the oldest continuous Christian countries in the world. Their Coptic brand of Christianity goes back to soon after the Crucifixion.
They were Christian for centuries while in England the Angles and Saxons were still worshiping Wooden, Thur and Friga.

My daughter roomed with a Nigerian Christian girl in college. Daughter said roomie was so conservative that she made her and Dad look like flaming liberals by comparison.
very Christian country indeed. The Ethiopians claim to have the Arc of the Covenant in a small church there.

They are wonderful people besides being good Christians.
Acts 8, 10 and 11 were the chapters my elders used whenever someone brought up the idea the races should be separated.
Peter and the Ethiopian was quoted quite often.
Isn’t there a small church in Ethiopia where the Ark of the Covenant supposedly resides? Pretty cool if true!
