Wow. I was just telling someone the other day that the barrage of low life reality shows, the destruction of our children’s youth and innocence, the encouragement of antifa and the pushing of getting in debt for material things and worthless college degrees is an intentional act by evil to destroy America.

We went from the Greatest Generation to the Greediest Generation boomers to now the dumbest generation (Millennials).

Generalizations are naughty, which is why I look down on sociology majors.
However, it can be argued that the previous generation builds the next one. The "Greatest" generation wanted their children to toil less, and enjoy the fruits of their elders' labors. You shouldn't have to work; we did! was the message.
Then came the message from the Boomers to their offspring: You shouldn't have to think; we did!
So the strugglers begat the lazy and the lazy begat the ignorant.
With any luck -- and a miracle -- the next generation will roll up their sleeves and clean up the mess.

So far, the Barr Justice Dept. is all talk and no action. Sessions was no talk and no action - so this is somewhat of an improvement.

However, as long as the miscreants continue to skate above the law, the problems we see now will only get worse and accelerate as critical mass is achieved, and the country crashes in disarray.

” Secularists and their allies have marshaled all the forces of mass communication, popular culture, the entertainment industry, and academia in an unremitting assault on religion and traditional values.”

He’s correct, especially with regard to traditional values. However, the church itself has to take responsibility also - Catholic & Protestant both.

Exactly right, I’ve cited those same factors many times in the past.

"Our top cop is a good man. It’s been a long time."

I'll believe Barr is a good man when there are real indictments of principal coup plotters. Until then it is all just words. Even recently, after all the reports that McCabe's indictment was imminent - nothing. The clock is running out and the conspirators are walking free, making money, and continuing to conspire against Trump

When Bush won because of family values, the Left declared war on family values. However, they still haven’t figured out why Hillary lost.

As a Boomer, I don’t think we are the greediest, but we were spoiled. My dad graduated HS in 1932—into the teeth of the Depression. By the time WWII ended he was in his early 30s before ‘normal’ times returned for the first time in his adult life. Postwar prosperity led many parents, I believe, to want to give their kids what they had been deprived of.

By today’s standards, growing up in the 50s would seem in fact to be poor and deprived. One phone in the house. One radio. One TV if you were lucky. But by my parents’ standards it was a time of unprecedented abundance. As one who lived it, it was wonderful.

Ephesians 6.. our true enemy. People are being intentionally manipulated... unable to think for themselves.

A good man? He’s an old bushie, cia guy. Talk is cheap.

But, let’s accept your position that he is a “good man”. The problem is that the federal doj simply has too much police power. Nearly all domestic crimes should be handled by State governments, not the feds. The Feds operate in secrecy and have enormous budgets. There is no real accountability via congress or the executive.

At the state level corruption can be weeded out more readily. State police and investigatory agencies are usually under the AG who can be voted out or recalled. States are smaller and news/info is easier to obtain at the state level. (it’s a lot easier to get a state records request than a federal one). And of course if a state is corrupt, you can move.

So, if you really care about defending your constutional rights, you should be more concerned with accountability, checks and balances than a few statements by a “good man”

I hope he truly is a good man. Public pronouncements do not certify that but could be a likely indicator.

Picking George Bush for his VP was his biggest mistake, but your point is well-taken.

I don't know how the election would have played out if he picked Laxalt or Lugar (names floated at the time). But I in list of errors I would also include Sandra Day O'Connor, 1986 tax changes (led to S & L crisis), going into Lebanon and letting Nancy confer with an astrologer. Not a horrible list considering the rest of his eight years, and what we came out of, and the trajectory he put the party on. Shame he didn't get the nomination in 1968 (it was closer than it looked).

In addendum to my previous post, I will hopefully reserve judgement until the results of pending investigations bear what fruit they may.

If the talks put you on the "outs" when you have something to lose, it is a good indicator. My favorite quotation from him is,

Everyone dies and I am not, you know, I don’t believe in the Homeric idea that you know, immortality comes by, you know, having odes sung about you over the centuries, you know?

AG Barr, the deep state is a secularist monster. How about a little prosecution every now and then?
