GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — An autopsy report shows a North Carolina judge died of a fentanyl and heroin overdose. The News & Record of Greensboro reports District Court Judge Tom Jarrell was found unresponsive on the bedroom floor of his home in High Point on Aug. 3. The report from the N.C. Office of the Chief Medical Examiner also says the 56-year-old Jarrell had alcohol in his system. According to the report, Jarrell had a medical history with an irregular heartbeat, but police found a plastic bag with a powdered substance in his pocket. The autopsy found that there was a possible needle puncture in his right arm with dried blood. Also, the report said police found a pocketknife and a piece of paper containing a powdered substance in his bathroom.

Alcohol, heroin, fentanyl?

What could go wrong?

Who did, Elijah Cummings? Oh...Never mind!
Even if that did happen, the media would try to cover it up.

I wonder how many addicts and dealers he put away over the years.

Seems odd if he only had 1 needle wound. Would suggest he just recently started shooting the horse. Perhaps he was addicted to pills, but with the new policies on opiates found them hard to get and went to the streets for smack. Heroin has always been around but only recently have the pushers been adding fentanyl because it's cheap and much more potent. According to the TV shows, junkies don't want pure heroin anymore they all want the fentanyl laced stuff.

Worse, according to the TV shows, some dealers deliberately make some bags that are overloaded with fentanyl specifically because they want someone to overdose - because word of an overdose sends all the junkies to that 'good sh**' the pusher sells. Murder for profit. Scum dealers.

But who knows, maybe he was snorting it before trying the needle. Maybe he was murdered.

Judge Tom Jarrell was found unresponsive on the bedroom floor of his home in High Point...

Fatal irony alert

If he only had 1 needle would and no old ones then it could be a hit staged to look like it was self-administered. Being that he’s a judge, he would have some enemies.

Sounds like a plot for the next John Grisham novel.

He had the ruddy face, gin blossomed cheeks, and bloodshot eyes of an alcoholic.

That song and John Prine’s Sam Stone are both going on 50 years old, and both are as relevant today as when first written.

Wait for it. Hold on. Give me a minute.

Sorry, I can't muster up any tears. I guess I'm just too cold hearted, or have no heart at all when it comes to folks like this judge.

One needle wound?....That was my immediate question. Were there numerous wounds or just one. If there was just one puncture wound, reasonable people would suspect murder.

Another example of poor journalism.

Did anyone check other areas of his body, between toes, in scalp are places they use to hid the track marks.
