I loved this movie but I live within just a few blocks from where it takes place and about 6-7 miles from the Tate home and about 2 miles from the LaBianca house.

That definitely must make it different for you. I’m from New York but I was living in California when all this happened. Horrible in a way we we hadn’t experienced yet.

in the mid 80’s, i went up to the Cielo Drive house before it was torn down...very spooky even at 2 in the afternoon..

I intended to see it, but it disappeared from my town really fast, apparently for lack of interest. Guess I’ll have to get the DVD.

Must see, as I was invited to that party by my bf, a friend of Jay Sebring’s. Felt like like someone had kicked me in the stomach, and I shouted NO. Jay died that night, we didn’t. Long story short, I never saw your neighborhood, which I understand is very nice.
