“But Gabbard is also a hypocrite.”

One would hope now that Tulsi has been accused by Clinton, she would come to the realization that maybe, just maybe, POTUS was falsely accused (too). For her to say that would require integrity and knowing that she would never get her party’s nomination. Though she won’t get it anyway.

The real (news) story here is the Clinton modus operandi seems to be using false stories about Russia against people. Obama had this thing about using the government to spy on people (Merkel, US Senators, news reporters, Tea Party, ... Trump’s campaign). He and the Clinton’s worked together against Trump. He has been very quiet about the Ukraine.

It's generational. People who are now in their 70s have been President for 19 years (Clinton, GWB, Trump). Most candidates and wannabees are in my decade. Biden, Warren, Sanders (even older), hillary, Gore, Jeb, Mitt....they're all basically my age. If the Dems were smart, they'd choose Gabbard/Buttiwieg and give up their control of power. I'm not afraid to say that, since the Dems aren't going to cede their grip on corrupt sources of income and power.

How stupid is hillary? The Manipulators have only been using polls where Tulsi does poorly. hillary actually gave Tulsi the publicity to be perceived as viable.

Don’t forget “superdelegates”.

“...but given some of the Freeper love she gets, one wonders how some even on these forums may vote in a farfetched Tulsi vs. Trump matchup!”

Your point is ridiculous, and bold doesn’t make it meaningful.

The new superdelegate rules for the Democrats:

https://www.270towin.com/content/superdelegate-rule-changes-for-the-2020-democratic-nomination

These are _nasty_.

16% of the total delegates who cannot vote on the first ballot in a contest still in doubt, but can vote if there is a second ballot.

Given the proportional nature of the delegates under the new rules, it makes it more likely that the superdelegates (and a second ballot) will be needed.

Like most “progressive reforms”, this means that the insiders don’t have power unless they need to—and their power (and candidate they support) can remain secret!

Can you say politboro?

Yes, I thought you could.

At this point the most likely scenario is that Warren wins Iowa and NH, and then slowly swamps the other candidates and gets the majority of delegates.

But, if that does not happen, the Politboro rules.

Mind boggling the way Gabbard went after “The Conscience of the Democrat Party” that way.

Bill would “date” a groundhog; Hillary wants to date Tulsi. Tulsi shouldn’t and wouldn’t let either of these creeps near her.

So happy she’s firing back at Hitlery’s stupidity.

Tulsi via twitter:

“You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long.”

“This make no sense...Hillary doesn’t”just say something””

Agree. My theory: Since Skunk Cabbage STILL has her 2016 organization intact (she kept them on the payroll via her ‘foundation’) it means that she has, by far, the best polling of any candidate. Her polling showed that Tulsi was starting her move and needed to knee-cap her (even before Tusli knew about the polling). I do think the last thing she expected was Tulsi’s response - but in hindsight, it should have been expected - after all, Tulsi is the ONLY PERSON in the federal government that I know of who actually made a real effort to understand what’s going on Syria - in other words, what a disaster Skunk Cabbage created there.

I’m guessing that SC was expecting more of a John McCain response from 2008, when all his ‘friends’ in the media accused him of adultery - McCain’s response “I’m disappointed”...and then after Obama won, McCain’s love-fest with the media picked right back up. Sorry SC, but Tulsi is a bit different...

“These (rules) are _nasty_.”

AGREE! I’ve been saying that I think Skunk Cabbage’s plan had been to have a 3-way (or more) split in the first round of voting, where the delegates MUST support the person that they’re pledged to, based on the state’s primary/caucus...with no one reaching 50% plus 1 votes.

At that point, all bets are off. The Superdelegates then get to swoop-in and the regular delegates are free to vote as they choose. At that moment, Skunk Cabbage was going to mount her white stallion, nude, and gallop on to the convention floor to save the convention as the ‘consensus candidate’. But now there are problems. Bernie had a heart attack, while Biden collapsed under his own brainpower. So Warren was on the cusp of running away with it...winning on the FIRST BALLOT, where Skunk Cabbage CANNOT stop her. So SC has to elevate someone new to again split the voting - so why not Tulsi!

You may be right—but I do not see how Warren can be stopped.

The reason is that Democratic primary voters read the mass media, will get “hooked” by the horse race coverage, and the mass media will have to give Warren positive coverage when it begins to look like she is nearing the nomination.

Also, the large donors run in packs, and they will quickly abandon any challengers that can’t keep up with Warren in the early going.

Also, Warren is an excellent liar, Bill Clinton calibre. Her clips claiming Indian heritage in the MA Senate race are astounding. She is amazingly convincing even when you _know_ she is lying:
