Men are far more capable of calculated, intense, yet still measured violence at the drop of a hat than she could imagine. He could have easily done a crapload more damage, but still restrained himself.

Again this was a school for special needs kids and we don’t know what was wrong with her okay? Being it was a special needs school it’s safe to say her elevator is stuck between the second and third floor, and what she did she didn’t now any better. This is how we deal with mentally retarded people, we slam them to the floor?

Yep. Had her father done what he did, he'd be in jail for child abuse of a particularly vulnerable special needs child. In fact there are many people who believe spanking is criminal behavior.

He could have killed her or permanently disabled her, throwing her backward on a hard floor.

Doesn't matter what she said. She's a child and she posed no threat at all, but to his inflated dignity.

Seems clear he has poor impulse control, too. A very bad quality in a cop.

The cop might even be a "school" cop and didn't get the regular training a city cop would get.

They might have done this "dis-dance" before.

Well, I don't see GREED here. I do see lack of patience unless she had been pestering him a lot before this.
Maybe he isn't a regular cop and didn't get the regular cop training. Maybe this town's requirement for cops isn't particularly high.

Bigger town have all kinds of psych testing for police candidates. Maybe this is just a small town.
